My Day Today

My work can be utmost boring sometimes.
Researching, studying, typing for hours on end on the PC. But Thank God for the internet, fotopages and Photoshop. When boredom hits, those listed above are my salvation (if I were too lazy to start up the car and drive to KLCC  )

My name is Gandalf the Grey (yup that's me up there, from an ant's view).
I am an overweight-going-obese, obnoxious fat cat who eats Friskies 6x a day (I hate Whiskas brand) and rule the street where I live at in TTDI. Everycat must obey me and I answer to no one, except to my lady boss - Queen Mother Farah (well I only speak to her when Im hungry, but most of the time I just ignore her). But I love her however because she allows me to enter her room whenever I feel like it, curl on her big bed and watch her do her own thing.
But one thing despise is that she likes to point a little grey device in my face (that sometimes produce an irritating bright light and blinds me temporarily) while screaming at me "duduk diam-diam!". It's just so annoying that when I get bored I just run off leaving her calling over my back "Gandallllffff!!"
Yes Im a snob I know... and I dont care.

2nd worskhop.
Same good ol' Ted!
Started off in the morning, tea break, pratical, lunch break, practical, DRIZZLING, sambung practical semula. Model of the day - Azira aka Ted's niece, sweet and sporting lass she was. Engku showed up later in the afternoon with cannon-sized telephoto that drew everyone's attention from Ted and the class (hehe!). Definitely a show-stealer haha! Seperti biase later in the afternoon as it happened in the previous class, I had to retire from pressing the shutter as the battery had gone weak (no I dont have any spares so sue me). Same thing happened to my sis Dilla too.. haha like kakak like adik. Luckily enuff, Abg Pian aka Prompter46 sportingly lent me his D70 (bless u Abg Pian!). Session ended at 6. Was reluctant to part with Abg Pian's D70 (I swear Dilla had tears in her eyes hehe!) which I would've bestowed upon it a new owner (ME!) had not Abg Pian pried it off my fingers, hahahaha!
Am now a degree darker (shuckss!) Tan dari snorkelling kat Sabah tak hilang lagi....
Had a swell time nevertheless. Thanks everyone!
Foto collection besar kali ni, came from many sources : my Sony p&s, Dila's Sony p&s, my dad's Lumix p&s, and Abg Pian's D70. That shud explain the differences in image quality hehe.. (those marked with * were taken by Abg Pian, and some were snapped by my sis - go figure!).

It's the 10th Asian Oil, Gas, & Petrochemical Engineering Exhibition in KL Convention Center from June 13-16. Lotsa very techie stuffs, which I mostly have no idea whatsit all about. But I know too much oil is not good for health, and always fill the gas tank when it's empty   And since sweetheart was there, I just had to come and be on the lookout for potential man-eaters

The workshop was very der best, the peeps were very der friendly, the sifu was very der nice!
It was a good exposure for me who is of lower-than-amateur in this field.
But it was rather intimidating to see some chaps turned up with to-die-for SLRs which made my T1 looked like a 'mainan' out from a Ding-Dang box 
Indoor shots mmg hampeh, and halfway thru battery went dead (pastu kena kutuk dgn Aji).
Perhaps I should consider tossing my T1 out of the window and get my hands on one of those SLRs in the market walaupun tak reti nak pakai muahahahahaha
To all fotopagers that I had met : You guys were awesome. Hope we can meet again!

Lan Z took us fishing by some isolated lake at an abandoned palm estate.
Walaupun terpaksa mengharungi onak dan duri utk tiba di tepian tasik, it was well worth it.
Though it was hot, the place was magnificently windy and serene...
