For those who are nature-and-adventure seeking type (also me!), there's always the exhilaration of trekking still-active volcano craters at Gunung Tangkuban Parahu if you can handle inhaling rottenegg-smelling toxic sulphuric fumes lingering in the air.
Ape tunggu lagi... jom pergi Bandung!

Buli Balik

Attended a community screening of Buli Balik at TGV OU recently for fellow bloggers and langau blogs (that's where I fit in since Im not much of a blogger myself though I own one in the cyberspace but cant manage to keep up with both fotopage and blog coz I have a short-attention-span disorder but that's another story to tell..).
Good show, though I had forgotten most about the former Buli. Baik Punya Cilok is still my favourite one amongst all three movies by Afdlin.
Go catch the show if u must.
Wayang siapa kalau bukan wayang kita... ngehngehngeh 
..and yes I am taller than Patrick Teoh and thinner than Afdlin.

Maiden of Honor

My first time being appointed as pengapit-of-honor..
Major job description : look pretty, wipe own's sweat, look gorgeous, smile at cameras, wave occasionally.
Minor job description : tell bride that her veil is slightly displaced.
T'was fun being in the limelight and all.. and to be constantly photographed at...

The Island

Managed to steal some days away from werk to head to *the island* with some frens.
Reached Kuala Terengganu by 8am and rushed to Merang Jetty to catch the boat. Ride to *the island* was fun and filled with anticipation of 3-day stay without civilisation, just the sun, sea, and more sea!!!
Some 40 minutes later....
 Welcome to *The Island*...
First time I visited this island was some 12 years ago, kosong tidak berpenghuni, absolutely untouched and the waters was simply marvellous, tidak terucap oleh kata-kata.
Now Im back, 12 years later... still crystal clear waters, fine supersoft sands, and minimal traces of human beings - just how I loved it! But unfortunately dying corals are evident and that is SO upsetting!
After lunch, we all jumped into a tongkang or a fish-catamaran and were brought for an island-hopping trip. Last stop - Turtle Bay, yes known for its famous residents - the Hawksbill Turtles! The boat left us off here and our task was to snorkle back to the resort which was some 1.5km away. Spotted the famous turtle and a baby black-tip shark along the way. When we finally reached the resort, my throat was sorely dry and the penat meter had reached maximum. A 1.5km without so much of a lifejacket and fins, you'd get my meaning.
The entire 3 days of doing absolutely nothing but eat and snorkle was simply exhilarating! Not to mention the ugly darkening of my fair-skin despite numerous layers of Coppertone SPF45, hahahaha.
 We'll definitely be back soon!!
I love Malaysia. I love *the island*.

Afternoon in TC

Been overwhelmed with werk 
It's been a busy semester so far. I miss my fotopage, sigh...
Fortunately, busy days are subsiding (wiping sweat off my untrimmed eyebrows, yup, havent got time to trim those either).
Recent interesting trips in the camera log are Teluk Cempedak and *the island*. Nowadays the trusty lil' camera is being subjected only to outdoorish trips.
Teluk Cempedak (located in Kuantan, Pahang for those who are malaysian-geographically-challenged, hehe) is common to all but somewhat special both to me and he-dearest. Where else can u find a beach with a McD just a few feet away? To sit on a bench facing the sea, licking sundae under the hot sun whilst the wind blowing sands into the icecream (adds salt to taste) and discussing with loved one where to eat keropok lekor next is just PURE heavenly.
I love Malaysia. I love Teluk Cempedak.
